After her residency training was complete, Dr. Jes practiced at a pediatric dental office in Lancaster, OH (a rural area outside of Columbus), however, the mountains and family back home were calling as both Dr. Jes and her husband are from the Wyoming Valley.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jes loves spending time with her family. She is mom to a 5-year-old & 2-year-old son and a newborn daughter, so she has a unique understanding of the special care children require, especially in uncomfortable situations. Dr. Jes and her family are enjoying exploring NEPA again, specifically finding many new playgrounds around the area. Dr. Jes enjoys trying new restaurants, watching movies, traveling, cooking and baking.
Dr. Jes is a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Pennsylvania Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Dental Association.
“When I was a child, I had a difficult experience at the dentist which resulted in a referral to a pediatric dental specialist. The dentist and their team made the experience fun and enjoyable, where I looked forward to my appointments. When I needed to get some fillings, they made the appointments easy and helped to reduce my anxiety. My goal is to make you and your child feel at ease in the dental office and to help guide you in obtaining the best oral health care for your children. To help children not fear the dentist and have a great experience, like I did, is my goal every day with each one of my patients.”
